Dental cavities are decayed areas of your teeth that develop into tiny openings or holes. Cavities, or tooth decay, are caused by a combination of factors, including improper oral hygiene and diets that comprises of sugary rich food and drinks.
Around the world, cavities and tooth decay are considered to be one of the most common health problems. They commonly occur in children and young adults. But everyone is susceptible to tooth decay, including infants and older adults as long as they have a tooth.
The question is, do you have them? This three part post will help you identify and realize how serious tooth decay can be.
