How Human and Children’s Teeth are Numbered
The Human teeth are numbered by Dentists mostly in the United States. However, there are Dental experts and even Orthodontists from countries outside of the United States that employs different systems in numbering an adult and children’s teeth. This is usually done by dividing the teeth into four quadrants starting of at the front row with the numbers 1 to 8 used in representing the eight teeth in each arch. Moreover, some dentists will illustrate an “L” shaped angle around the number, after this it will be pointed to the “arms” of the “L” in the course of the quadrant.
